Bathgate: Christianity Explored

Every Thursday, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, from 23/02/2012 to 05/04/2012

Address: Tom and Jean Jackson's Home, 6 Bruce Street, Bathgate, 00 GB EH48 2SZ

Coordinator: Tom Jackson ()

Christianity Explored gives you time and space to consider the big questions of life and to explore the life of the person at the heart of the Christian faith - Jesus Christ.  In this 7-week course we'll think through who Jesus is, why He came and what it means to be a Christian.  It is an opportunity to raise questions and to find some answers.

When and Where?  Thursday evenings for 7 weeks starting Thursday, 23 February at 6 Bruce Street, Bathgate.

Who is it for? Anyone who is interested, especially if you would like to examine or re-examine the Christian faith. You don’t have to be a Church-goer and it doesn’t matter if you don’t know anything about the Bible. And it’s free!

What happens? Each session begins with tea/coffee and a chance to chat. Then there will be some group discussion based on a Bible passage from the gospel of Mark. Then we’ll watch a DVD featuring Rico Tice, who explains the Christian message in a clear and contemporary way. And then there’s a chance to talk about what we’ve heard and to ask any questions.  It is relaxed, informal and thought-provoking.
