CentrePoint Church is a local church submitted to the headship of Jesus Christ through the authority of His Word, the Bible. The church is a spiritual family – a community of believers. We are also a Scottish Charity. No decision is ever made that would knowingly contradict any of Jesus’ teachings. We rely upon the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we discern God’s direction for this church. When we make decisions and implement plans, we always look at effectiveness (what works) and truth (what is right).
Centre Point Church has a tri-fold team responsible for its spiritual health and direction: elders, trustees, and staff. Additionally, the day-to-day operation of the church lies in the hands of the Senior Pastor and his staff.
The Elders are responsible for the overall spiritual health and direction of the church (ensuring and overseeing ministry, and setting priorities).
The Trustees are responsible for the legal and financial health of the church (legal compliance and governing policies).
The Staff are responsible to run the day-to-day operations of the church (ministry and administrative execution).
