You can make a difference. Because Jesus has made a difference in your life, you can make a difference in someone else’s life.
Following Jesus is about giving and receiving. From God, we receive forgiveness, new life, and the Holy Spirit. Like God, he calls us to give to others through serving. Jesus himself said, “The Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28.
Because Jesus gave his life as a ransom for us, we can give our lives in the service of others. Because God has shared his love with us through Christ, we can share the love of God with others, through service.
As a church, CentrePoint has many ways to be involved in actively following Christ through service. As we each bring our gifts and talents to the table and put them in play, the church is strengthened and our communities are reached with the gospel.
